Lunken Airport - Hangar #4…. 654 Wilmer Avenue (Complimentary Valet Parking)Military planes and memorabilia will be located throughout the facility creating the traditional USO canteen.

Purpose

To pay tribute to the attending retired and active military as well as to rekindle the patriotic spirit of God and Country in light of today’s difficult times. The Emerald Gala committee proudly acknowledges the many military service organizations within the Greater Cincinnati tri-state area and cordially invites veterans and their guests to participate in this tribute.

Entertainment

The nationally renowned 17-piece “TOM DAUGHERTY ARMY AIR FORCE ORCHESTRA tribute to the Glenn Miller AAF Orchestra.” Other musical guests include the female trio re-enactment of the Andrews Sisters performance.

Attire

Business casual…..attending veterans are encouraged to dress in their traditional military attire to recognize their branch of service and theircurrent involvement with a military service organization. (e.g., AmericanLegion, V.F.W., D.A.V). Wives and other guests are encouraged to dress as if attending a USO canteen featuring the “Big Band / Swing” sounds of Glenn Miller.

Grand Prize Raffle… $5,000
